This Privacy Policy describes how Nravit collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our services.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: email, display name, password hash, and OAuth provider IDs if you sign in with Google or GitHub.
• Content you post: messages, uploaded media, server and channel metadata, friend requests.
• Usage data: IP address, user agent, approximate session timestamps, and error logs.
• Cookies: short-lived cookies used for OAuth state and session continuity.

2. How we use it

• To operate the service — deliver messages, host media, authenticate you.
• To protect the service — detect abuse, rate-limit, investigate security incidents.
• To improve the product — aggregated analytics on feature usage.
• To communicate with you about your account or material changes to these policies.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with:

• Service providers — hosting (VPS), media storage (Cloudinary), OAuth (Google, GitHub), advertising (Klipy) — strictly to operate the service.
• Other users — information you make public, such as display name, avatar, and messages in shared channels.
• Legal requirements — when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

4. Retention

We retain account data while your account is active. Messages persist until deleted by you, a moderator, or the server owner. Deleting your account removes your profile and dissociates messages you authored.

5. Your choices

• Update your profile and password from Settings.
• Delete your account at any time from Settings.
• Request a copy of your data by emailing support@nravit.app.

6. Security

We use TLS for all traffic, hash passwords with industry-standard algorithms, and restrict internal access to user data. No system is perfectly secure — use a strong unique password.

7. Children

Nravit is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Contact us if you believe we have.

8. International users

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. By using the service you consent to such transfer.

9. Changes

We will notify you of material changes by updating the date above and, where appropriate, via in-app notice.
